This unpublished revelation, often called âA Revelation to Wilford Woodruff in the Wilderness,â was received by Woodruff in an area some forty miles from Sunset, Arizona, and recorded in his journal (Kenney 7 [26 Jan. 1880]: 546, 615-21). It was accepted as the âword of the Lordâ by John Taylor and the Quorum of the Twelve the following April.
